Kinve currently produces roughly 2 million solar wafers a month. These wafers are delivered to a number of leading cell manufacturers, both within china and abroad.
Kinve's new wafer plant will have 20 units of wafer slicers in place on September 2008. The new machines use the very latest technology and should allow us to increase the number of wafers produced per ingot by around 10%. It will mean we can save on wafer cutting expenses and also allow us to increase speed and certainty of delivery to our customers.
Ingots
Moving from our core competency in monocrystalline ingot production, we will soon be adding the flexibility of multicrystalline produation.
JINGWEI currently has 4 monocrystalline furnaces in operation capable of producing around 12 ton of ingot per month.
Our quality control team constantly monitors the quality of our feedstock to attain the right level of purity and guarantee the efficiency of our wafers.
